Roof Mounting
Mounting systems secure the solar modules (panels) to the underlying structure, albeit a roof or ground-mounted structure. This mounting must remain safe over the lifetime of the modules (25 years+) in potentially harsh outdoor conditions. Typically, the modules are securely fastened to the structure, either bolted or weighted down (ballasted system) on the surface underneath.
