PV sub-system for VICTRON Inverters. This sub-system consists of:

  • 1 x VICTRON SmartSolar 250/60 Charge Controller
  • 6 x 460 JA Solar panels

The panels will be strung in two parallel strings of 3 panels in series each. 


The Balance-of-System for this sub-system includes:

A Combiner Box with:

  • 4 x PV fuses (to fuse the + and the - of each string)

A Junction Box with:

  • 1 x PV Surge arrestor
  • 1 x PV Isolator 


Additional components of the sub-system kit:

  • PV cable (60m red and black each)
  • 125A Mega fuse (to  add to the Lynx distributor at the inverter)
  • VE Direct Cable (1.8m)
  • Earth wire (85m bare earth)
  • Earth Spike (1.2m)
